F.E.L.T Serving Manatee County

I have taken a tour of the FELT facility in Bradenton, Kim and Jessica have a huge heart  with an outstanding mission statement.

F.E.L.T of Bradenton partners with local community leaders and Project Heart helping students in housing transition.

Project Heart specifically assists students in the following situations:

· In a shelter

· In a motel or campground due to lack of an alternative adequate accommodation

· In a car, park, abandoned building, or bus or train station

· Doubled up with other people due to loss of housing or economic hardship

F.E.L.T of Bradenton assists and provides food for homeless children of Manatee county. They are in most of the schools of the county and deliver food regularly to the hungry children for after school and weekends. You can help by volunteering your time, driving the food to the schools, cash via PayPal (see link below) and food drive menu items listed as follows:

Feeding Empty Little Tummies (F.E.L.T.), founded in 2010, is Manatee County's original backpack program to feed our homeless students on weekends, a time when these children often go hungry.

My fallen brothers and sisters have given up their lives for their country and the people of America. Our wounded heroes deserve every single advantage we could possibly provide, to help them combat their disadvantages suffered through their service. We are on this earth to help one another and a great start would be to help our wounded warriors.
